 This week's Business Spotlight shines on Amber Kiel and her new business, Studio Posh. Amber opened her new salon in April of 2004, and is already very busy. Amber is an expert color specialist and hair stylist. Her menu of services includes cuts, perms, color, manicures, pedicures, waxing, and she also does make-up/makeovers, and carries beauty products for purchase off of the shelf. Finally, Studio Posh offers spa services, such as facials and massages.
Amber gained most of her experience while working several years at Salon Couture in Pequot Lakes and
traveling to hair shows, including a well-known show in Las Vegas. Kiel stays on the "cutting edge" (no pun intended) of hair cuts and styles, so she is a great resource if you're looking to update your do, even way up here in the lakes area. Nobody wants to be sporting their
"momma's haircut" when it's long gone out of vogue. Just say no to "bee-hives" - you remember those!
As a patron of Studio Posh, I can personally vouch for Amber's expertise. She is great at what she does. I've been going to her for services since I moved here. She gives a great shampoo and haircut, is good about giving input when asked for advice, can put you to sleep with a facial and make you look like a thousand bucks with a make-over. And I haven't even tried a manicure or pedicure with her yet... It's great to have another wonderful salon in Crosslake, like Salon Couture of Pequot Lakes. Now,
